Deguna plastika jeb rinoplastika Latvijas Mikroķirurģijas centrā
Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure aimed at correcting the shape of the nose. It is the most common type of plastic surgery, and only one-third of patients consult a surgeon due to functional (medical) issues. In other cases, the reason for nasal correction is purely aesthetic, such as a hump, a wide nose, a hooked tip, etc.
Medical indications: blocked nasal passages; breathing difficulties; rhinitis associated with nasal abnormalities; a constantly stuffy nose; malposition of the nasal septum (deviation, curvature); and others. Medical indications for nasal surgery also include the consequences of trauma or previous surgical interventions. Although rhinoplasty is performed only after the patient has reached the age of majority, age is not a factor in this case.
Aesthetic imperfections: hump; broad nose; curvature; saddle nose; unattractive tip (too pointed, too massive, hooked, etc.); very long nose.
