The Latvian Microsurgery Center offers digital X-ray examinations using state-of-the-art equipment that provides high-resolution images while reducing the patient’s radiation exposure. Digital radiography allows doctors to make an accurate diagnosis and select the most appropriate treatment strategy.
It is an essential diagnostic method for treating various conditions affecting the extremities. The center offers X-rays of the hands and wrists, legs and feet, knees and elbows, as well as other parts of the extremities. The images are immediately available in the DATAMED system, where the treating physician can view them.
A referral is required for the examination, specifying the body part to be examined. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing without metal parts (buttons, zippers, jewelry), as these can affect image quality; Before the examination, you must remove jewelry, watches, and other metal objects. If you suspect you may be pregnant, please inform the reception desk and the medical staff.
