Beautiful Breasts Even After Age 45+

Riga, 332 Brīvības Street On Wednesday, June 18, the new specialized hospital of the Latvian Microsurgery Center (LMC) was officially opened; it will offer the highest-quality diagnostics, reconstructive, hand, cosmetic, and oncological microsurgery.
“We have established this hospital with new capabilities. It will offer radiological examinations—including both X-rays and ultrasounds—as well as neurophysiological examinations, a laboratory, three operating rooms, an inpatient ward, and a rehabilitation room for our patients,” emphasized the chairman of the LMC board, Jānis Krustiņš.
J. Krustiņš noted that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the first independent limited liability company, “Latvian Center for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Microsurgery,” and the 40th anniversary of the field of microsurgery in Latvia. “Most Latvian doctors who specialize in plastic, reconstructive, hand, or microsurgery have acquired their knowledge and skills right here at LMC. We are also proud that our capacity is growing every year; last year, more than 5,500 surgeries were performed at the LMC,” emphasizes Jānis Krustiņš.
It is expected that the new hospital will be able to perform more than 300 types of surgeries. LMC already has more than 70 employees.
Minister of Health Hosam Abu Meri At the hospital’s opening ceremony, he noted that the work of the Microsurgery Center is greatly needed. He also expressed gratitude for the support the LMC has provided to Ukrainian civilians and soldiers affected by the hostilities. The minister pointed out that medical tourism is a very important aspect, as it benefits both medical professionals and the Latvian economy.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to co-fund this significant step forward and to see how this vision has become a tangible contribution to Latvia’s healthcare system. We always support projects that are based on a clear vision, professional execution, and the achievement of goals that are important to society. The Microsurgery Center is an excellent example of how private initiative can promote access to high-quality services and strengthen the healthcare system as a whole,” notes a member of the SEB Bank Board of Directors Arnis Škapars.
Acting Chair of the Board of Riga East University Hospital, Professor Harald Plaudis acknowledged that microsurgery began at the Eastern Hospital, and we will certainly never see the day when it ends there. “A tremendous amount of good work has been done,” says Professor H. Plaudis, specifically highlighting the contribution of LMC doctors to the treatment of oncology patients: “Without your involvement, this would not be possible here—at the Eastern Hospital or in Latvia.”.
SEB Bank provided 5 million euros in financing for the construction of the new hospital, with total construction costs amounting to 8 million euros.
LMC is a member of the European Association for Surgery of the Hand, a member of the International Association for Surgery of the Hand, and is the only medical institution in the Baltic region accredited as a Hand Trauma and Replantation Center by the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH). The center’s doctors have trained at leading clinics in the U.S., Norway, France, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, and elsewhere, and they regularly update their knowledge and skills at various international forums.
