“During the summer, dozens of patients seek help from hand surgeons and microsurgeons during a single shift. These patients have sustained injuries while performing household chores—at home, in the fields, in the garden, and in the woods.”.

Children are injured because of their parents” irresponsibility. When microsurgeons see a child who has chopped off his own fingers with an axe, it is hard for them to comprehend such senselessness, and this is a growing responsibility.”
