DELFI.LV: Women are invited to apply for free breast reconstruction surgery

A mastectomy is a deeply emotional ordeal for any woman, one that can be eased by breast reconstruction. Since the state-funded breast reconstruction program has not been reinstated, the Latvian Microsurgery Center (LMC) is continuing the campaign it launched in 2020, during which five women who have survived breast cancer will have the opportunity to undergo free breast reconstruction surgery.
